The Strategic Leadership Training in Oman

Welcome to the Strategic Leadership Training, which took place in Oman, Muscat from 23 to 29 November 2007.

We had 42 participants from 11 Associations: Egypt, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Oman, Qatar, Sudan, Syria (CWTM), Tunis, UAE and Yemen.

The planning team had the following members:

Mariam Alhadery, young leader (OMAN)
Aliaa Aljandal, young leader (Kuwait)
Asmaa Gamal Mahmoud, young leader (Egypt)
Fatima Salem, young leader (UAE)

This training is unique in its kind as included for the first time the chief and international commissioners as well as young women. Some sessions were joined and many other sessions divided. The planning team included for the second time four young trainers: Aliaa, Asmaa, Fatima and Mariam.

This training was very special because it included a whole range of age groups. Truly it was amazing to see that everyone can be a Guide in spirit and action!
