New Regional Committee for the Arab Region

The 18^th Arab Regional Conference has elected the new Regional Committee for the next three years.

The new members of the Arab Committee are: Essia Fathallah ( Tunis), Abla Abu Nawar (Jordan), Sagda Gasem Alholy (Kuwait), Noura Noomani Jaroudi (Lebanon), Monjeya Ahmad Alghadamsy (Libya) and Mona Abdel-Ghany Alshal (Egypt). This is the second term of service for Essia and Abla.

The new committee has chosen Essia Fathallah as the new Chairman and postponed choosing the Vice-chairman until the next committee meeting in February 2008.

Essia has thanked the Member Organizations for the trust they have placed in her and promised to do her best to fulfil this trust.
