Highlights of the event:

The highlight of event was to look at present ways of work of National Boards and ways to strengthen its development.
These sessions explored subjects such as Management styles, effective ways of communications and the use of creative solutions.
Participants were updated on the latest information on WAGGGS and more specifically on Leadership, GAT, Advocacy and centenary.
There was time for participants to update on their achievements since our last training event specifically in the GAT and Advocacy projects as well as their plans for the centenary celebrations.
Another important item was the finalizing of the guidelines for young women’s programme. This culminate the work carried out in the last two years were extensive meetings with young women and programme commissioners to better understand their needs and aspiration have greatly helped in finalizing this document. Participants had the time to discuss and make any final amendments/additions needed.

The programme will now be sent to the Arab Regional Committee for its final approval before it is sent to all MOs for immediate implementation.
Another important item was the discussion and agreement of the Programme Commissioner as well as the Training commissioners roles and responsibilities documents. Final version will be sent together with report.

Once again, a variety of innovative and creative ways of delivering sessions were used. The flow of event was perfect as it gave ample time for participants to voice their opinion and feel involved in all work and decision taken at Regional level.
