The Right to Education
The World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts views the education of girls and young women as a fundamental human right.
The World Association believes that the right to learn is the right of every girl and young woman around the world. The Association provides millions of girls and young women with non-formal education, giving them the opportunity to develop self-esteem, confidence and life skills.
Girl Guides and Girl Scouts are challenged and tested to grow their strengths in a safe and secure environment.
The World Association encourages its members to take a stand and speak out on the issue of the right to learn.
