The 19th Arab Camp for Girl Guides
23 July 2008 - 31 July 2008 Under the theme of "One Nation – One Promise – Love and Sisterhood", the Jordanian Scouts and Girl Guides Association hosted the 19th Arab Camp with the participation of 210 girl guides and 50 leaders from Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Sudan, Syria, UAE, and Jordan. The Arab Region participated in WAGGGS Facilitators Training
4 June 2008 A training workshop for future facilitators of the WAGGGS Leadership Development Programme (WLDP) takes place at Pax Lodge from 19 to 23 May. We had a very good representation from the Arab Region, taking into account the geographical distribution, the nomination received by MOs and recommendations of the Committee Members during its last Committee Meeting.
